This is some funny ass shit! As far as the people grousing about marriage and how awful it is, it is what you make it. I’ve got friends who married pretty girls and they were soooo frickin miserable, both parties. I think that often people get married thinking that the institution itself, or the person will fix whatever’s wrong with their lives, or complete them. Or maybe they get involved because the other person has money. My wife and I lived together for 8 years before we decided to jump the broom. I picked her because we were compatible, liked the same things, and had the same values. We dealt with being homeless and bankrupt, myriad health issues, lost our home, but she’s stuck with me through it all. We’ve been together for 31 years and I it keeps getting better and better. I don’t think that I’d ever get that lucky again, and I pray that I never have to find out! Peace!
